Project COLT aims to support healthy addiction free lifestyles.
Our objects are:
i) to relieve persons the conditions of need or hardship; (particularly though not exclusively as a result of drug and alchol addiction) and to relive the distress caused thereby in Calderdale and in other parts of the United Kingdom as the Trustees may from time to time think fit.
ii) to advance education in the community (particularly though not exclusively in regard to drug-free healthy living) in accordance with Christian principles by such means as the Trustees may consider appropriate in the said location and in such other parts of the United Kingdom as the Trustees may from time to time think fit.
In furtherance to the above objects, Project COLT may;
i) support basic needs of the service users, known as Phase 1, which includes assessment, intervention, referral to medical services and supporting pre & post detox programmes for patients of GP practices and other such bodies.
ii) provide support through a drug treatment rehabilitation programme in Phase 2, which addresses the bio-psycho-social and spiritual aspects for effective treatment through Care Plans, 1:1 Counselling, Group Work and Mentoring and self-help groups; for the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
iii) enable vocational work in Phase 3, which may include the following and is also open to other additions; furniture restoration workshops, building maintenance, promotion of healthy lifestyles, linking with local businesses and retail outlets, through social enterprise with Colt Enterprise (Calderdale) Ltd.
iv) do all such other lawful things as may be necessary for the attainment of the above objects.
